For over 15 years, our factory has been proudly powered by the sun. This clean energy source not only reduces our reliance on fossil fuels, but also helps us contribute to a cleaner, greener future. In fact, our choice to use renewable energy is the equivalent of planting over 700 trees each year, saves approximately 5.5 tonnes of coal from being mined and reduces CO2 emissions by 7.7 tonnes annually.
Minimising Waste, Maximising Resources:
We understand the importance of responsible waste management. We meticulously recycle all our paper and board waste, ensuring valuable resources are given a second life. Additionally, our digital presses utilise innovative toners that require lower printing temperatures, further reducing our energy consumption.
Choosing Sustainable Materials:
When it comes to materials, we make environmentally conscious choices. Our offset presses proudly use vegetable-based inks, a safer and more sustainable alternative to petroleum-based options. Our paper is sourced from ISO 14001 or EMAS-accredited mills, promoting responsible forestry practices and the use of recycled paper, often locally sourced from Australia.
Closing the Loop on Waste:
Our commitment to sustainability extends beyond immediate use. We ensure that all metal offset printing plates, digital press toners, and parts are either recycled or reused by us or our suppliers. This impressive 99% recycling rate demonstrates our dedication to minimising waste and maximising resource efficiency.
